Gathering guides doesn't build skill. Having the right structures and repeating them under timed conditions does. This site is a reference floor — the work happens outside it.
The honest lesson: This site was born from a mistake — spending months collecting notes, PDFs and cheat sheets, thinking that volume would produce fluency. It didn't. What moved the score was 5 solid structures, practised repeatedly under exam conditions. Use what you need here. Leave the rest.
One skeleton for Task 2. One for Task 1. One for Speaking Part 2. Understand them deeply — don't memorize, own them.
Method →Not what feels wrong in theory. What actually collapses under time: tense shifts, prepositions, agreement errors.
Error Patterns →Not IELTS prep channels. Real podcasts, real news, real speakers from the UK, Australia, Ireland, North America. Your ear needs range.
Resources →Cambridge Practice Tests 1–18. Timed. Seated. No pausing. At least one full writing session per week. The test is a performance test.
Fluency and coherence outweigh complex vocabulary. One self-correction is fine. Spiralling for two minutes costs more than a grammar slip.
Every page on this site is useless until you've produced the skill — on paper or out loud — under time pressure, at least ten times.
