## The Honest Advice About YouTube

Use IELTS YouTube **for structure and frameworks**. Use it to understand *how* to approach a task type.

Do **not** use it as your main input for English. Your ear needs:

- Podcasts from real speakers (BBC Desert Island Discs, Stuff You Should Know, The Daily, Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend)
- Documentary YouTube in topics you find genuinely interesting
- English news reading every day — The Guardian, BBC, Al Jazeera English, The Economist

The test is not about IELTS English. It is about real English, applied under exam conditions.
