Complex Sentence Practice IELTS Writing 
One thing you MUST be able to do if you want a band 6 or higher 
for your 'grammatical range' in the writing is include complex 
sentences in your writing.  
This is true for Academic or General Training, and for Task 1 and 
Task 2. 
And they would need to be very accurate if you are wanting a 7 or 
higher.  
One type of complex sentence is the adverbial clause.  
These two exercises are to practice using common adverbial 
clauses.  
You need to decide which word goes in the gap. You can post your 
answers if you like in the comments box below.  
They are sentences taken from essays and graphs.
